A lot of people asked me what I thought about the various crackdowns on privacy and security that were happening in the name of "protecting the children." Oh, and the john doe attacks being carried out by the RIAA on people sharing music online. I said at the time that all that would happen is that it would teach people about the need to encrypt their traffic, and as much as that was concerned, the current crack downs were a good thing. Many people looked at me aghast, how could I be so accepting of violations of privacy? How could I ignore the injustice? The end to end encryption that people need so that they can d/l their pr0n torrents in peace is here: BitBlinder. Oh, and China's mandated censorship Green Dam software? It's full of newb sploit opportunities. Lamers.
